To help put you at ease here are the answers to some of the most common questions I get asked.

1. Will a website benefit my business?

Yes (in short), the internet is quickly becoming the main playground for businesses to do business, deal with clients and advertise their services. Whether you are a start-up company or have been around for years, a good website with clear information on who you are and what you do will put you in touch with the whole of your market or target audience.

2. But I know nothing about computers?

Don't worry about the technical side - I will offer guidance on every step of the journey for your new site. For the technical savvy amongst us then we can talk details but it certainly isn't a pre-requisite in order for you to have your own website.

3. What about maintaining the site once running?

Well if you don't want to or can't find the time then HotPickle offers two types of maintenance contract for you - either contracted on a monthly basis or ad-hoc. Depending on the size of your company, site and update requirements then there are benefits to both. These can all be discussed during the development of your site.

4. Will I have a say in what the site will look like?

The design process is iterative at almost every step. I do this to keep you happy and in the loop and also to give me confidence and feedback that I’m meeting your requirements.

5. I think I need a logo for my site?

Company logo's, images and branding is critical to a good website. It's something that can win or lose you clients as it's the first thing that people will see. At Hotpickle I’m more than happy to work with you to create the perfect branding for your site and business.

6. I don't own a website and what's this about hosting?

Well in order to have your own website you need to purchase a name. I can help you with this. But once you have the site name you need to find somewhere to host it. Initially this can be on our servers whilst we get the site up and running but once complete we will assist you with setting the site up and using a hosting company. We can recommend and assist in this process to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible for your site.
